Red Wing Shoes ENGINEER 2991 Amber Engineer Boot No Steel Toecap - Brown!
Classic ladies & men engineer boots without steel toe cap. Inspired by the "Work Boots", the rail construction workers of the American railway. The "Original" Engineer Boots, Made in USA!
Inners:
The complete shaft and heel area has no extra lining. The foot area again was worked out with a textile lining. The special brand leather sole gives the boot great flexibility from the first moment.
Uppers:
As upper material for the welted (Goodyear world) an extremely thick Harness leather or Pull Up cowhide leather was used. The leather was waxed in strongly, so that a very pleasant grip was created. The classic leather appearance is achieved by "finishing" the naturally tanned leather with oil. The buckles attached to the instep and shaft area serve only for decoration, but can also be adjusted if necessary.
The oil-resistant "Nitrile Cork" rubber outsole has also been sewn to the frame using the "Goodyear World" process. The outsole and the heel are made of one piece.
The "522" last of the Red Wings 2991 Amber Engineer boot has a normal foot width and a normal instep height, a so-called "D" width.
Dimensioning:
The 2991 Amber of the brand Red Wing Shoes has a shaft height of 11 inch, approx. 28 cm. The heel has a height of approx. 2.5 cm. The thickness of the rubber sole is approx. 1 cm. The average circumference is about 37.5 cm (varies depending on boot size by about 1-3 cm).

Due to the handcrafted production method of the Red Wing Shoes there may be differences in colour or design compared to the illustrated boots!
Each pair of Engineer boots is unique!
Waxed and oiled leathers (HARNESS Leather) also require special care products.
With the welted production method, a small walk-in phase must always be observed!
